This is a unique event of the FOGBEE Bicycle Club. Some come in costume and with floats. You don't want to miss it. It takes very little effort to put a string of lights on your bike. Lastly, do not ride bicycles into any store. That becomes a liability issue for the store and defeats the positive image we are trying to share. Also, ask friends and family NOT to follow along in cars. If they want to follow, please contact Bob about joining a "trail vehicle" or have them meet us around the big Christmas tree in the square in the Streets of Indian Lake.

- Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Nashville received Bicycle Friendly Awards this week from the League of American Bicyclists.
- Hendersonville adds bike lanes on Maple Row Blvd.
- The Facebook group HIP Hendersonville which has 6000 members had threads discussing the issue of bicycle traffic on Stop 30 and Drakes Creek Rd. Talk with David Hardin or Bryan for the details.
- Hendersonville Bike/Ped Committee (www.bikinhville.com) welcomes Brian Wray as new member. Brian, a mountain biker, is a Landscape Architect

In January 2015, we will be reviewing our Membership List and removing inactive accounts. We determine activity by feedback from MailChimp as to who is opening the newsletter. Please notify others who may not normally read our newsletter of the pending review.

Membership List - All members have access to the membership list. However, for everyone's security it is password protected. The list is based on the MailChimp subscription. [Last Update September 25, 2014]

Calendar -We try to schedule upcoming events on the calendar that appears in the right sidebar. All ride leaders and our internet administrators can login to the calendar and enter their plans. Dave Miley has been adding stuff. So if you need help ask him.
