AUTOGRAF NEW YORK was incepted from EMPATHY for Large Size. With more than 15 years of experience designing for women’s fashion brands, award-winning shoe designer Monika Kusinska launched Autograf New York in 2014.
Driven by her personal endeavor to find well-made, comfortable shoes in uncommon sizes in the United States, Kusinska decided to bring the luxury of high-quality, Italian leather shoes stateside.

Hi,
I am Monika Kusinska, and I have been designing shoes for women for the past decade.
HELPING women find their size of well-made and fitting shoes is a great cause to which I devote my passion and talents. PRESERVING Traditional Crafts is my second major priority for the M.O. of Autograf New York.
My journey started at age seven with a simple dream: "I want to be a fashion designer!" I graduated from Middlesex University in 1998, where I was first in my class, winning Bhs Graduate Fashion Week of 1998 -- Best Women's Collection.
SIZE MATTERS . . . was born out of my personal empathy for pains caused by ill-fitting shoes. I wore shoes sized too small growing up and ended up having surgery at twenty-three. Painful surgery, and long months of physical therapy, left me scarred, mentally and physically, by literally, my passion for fashion.
I am size 12, and it has been challenging since my surgery to find comfortable, well-made shoes. Acutely sensitive to uncomfortable shoes, I have been trading my shoe sketches with APIA for shoes in my size. Fortunate to wear Italian Handcrafted quality, I was forced to compromise at work -- designing shoes on budget for large companies who cared mostly about profit margins while often compromising fit.
When I was searching for inspiration to launch my own business, I "discovered" that my own life story, my genuine personal journey, is worthy of sharing with people and is the catalyst for launching Autograf New York.
We just launched INDIEGOGO campaign and your support will allow us to buy larger lasts and equipment to stay focused on the M.O of Autograf New York - Hard to find sizes.
