HUD is hosting a webinar for Section 236 (insured and HFA-issued) and Section 202 Direct Loan property owners with active mortgages that will provide important information describing how to preserve the affordability of their buildings. Webinar topics will include preservation options, refinancing, recapitalizing, and renovating older multifamily buildings that were originally financed with these HUD Multifamily products.

The presentation slides, recording, and instructional materials accompanying this webinar will be posted on the HUD Exchange Training and Events page after the session airs.

REGISTER NOW for Welcome to Preservation Webinar: Strategies to Preserve and Refinance Affordable Rental Housing Properties. Select the training page link, and then select Register Now on the right side of the page.

If you have not yet registered for a HUD Exchange account:

1. Log onto www.hudexchange.info
2. Click on Login to My HUD Exchange at the top right
3. Look for the heading, New to HUD Exchange? and select Create an Account.
4. Enter your information on Steps 1 and 2 of the registration page. Note: Select "None of the Above and I am an Individual", for Organization Information, If you are not affiliated with a HUD program.
5. Select Register.
6. You will be brought directly to the course detail page in HUD Exchange Learn and an email containing your username will be sent to you. Keep this for future use.
7. Select the checkbox next to the class name and location, and then select Submit Request.

If you have already registered for a HUD Exchange account:

1. Enter your Username and Password; select Enter.
2. If prompted to fill out additional information, please do so, and select Update.
3. You will be brought directly to the course detail page in HUD Exchange Learn.
4. Select the checkbox next to the class name and location, and then select Submit Request.

If you are unsure if you have a HUD Exchange account:

1. Go to the HUD Exchange Login page, and enter your email address into the field: Forget Username or Password?
2. If a username for that email address already exists, you will receive an email with a temporary password that you can use to follow the steps above. If not, you’ll receive an error message.
