Sell your products at the Llandaff Christmas Market
Following the success of our students being involved in the Christmas Market in Cardiff City Centre (and they're still around for this week too) we have another chance for you to sell your products at a market in the first week of December.
This one will be based on the ground floor of the Cardiff School of Management, Llandaff Campus between Monday 1st December and Thursday 4th December. This is your chance to test the market and gain valuable feedback on your products as well as making some money along the way. This opportunity is open to all students and staff and is completely free so you will keep any profit you make.
For those of you who don't have a product to sell -you could use the market to find a unique Christmas gift for your loved ones while supporting Cardiff Met students and staff.
If you're interested in taking part send us an email stating your name, student number, the course you are studying and the product you would like to sell.

Mingle All the Way!
Jingle Bells...Mingle Bells? No this is not an Arnold Schwarzenegger film. Rather it's our Christmas themed speed networking event. You'll get the chance to talk to local entrepreneurs about their businesses and be inspired at the same time. There'll even be mince pies there to just be nice and Christmassy!
Guest speakers for the event include:
Gareth Jones, founder of Welsh ICE
Karen Dell’armi, owner of Dell’armi Jewellery
Lisa Marie Brown, founder of social enterprise Pinkspiration
Elin Rees, owner of Elin Rees PR
Mingle will be taking place on Tuesday 2nd December in the Atrium, Cardiff School of Management, Llandaff Campus between 5:30pm and 8pm.

LaunchPad is back!
To celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week (17th-23rd November), we held a relaunch event for our student society for entrepreneurship, LaunchPad.
LaunchPad will be getting involved in lots of exciting activities over the next few weeks and months and the best part is you can get involved too!

The Breakfast Club
Come and join the Breakfast Club (a lot of movie references in this month's newsletter, isn't there?) It's a chance to meet entrepreneurs who are in the business of sport. From fitness fanatics to rugby royalty, we sit down for breakie with some of them for the first Wednesday of every month!
This month's breakfast will be on Wednesday 3rd December in the Bench, Cyncoed Campus from 10am to 11am followed by networking. Speakers will include Kevin McCabe from Cardiff Martial Arts.

What's happening in 2015?
The entrepreneurial fun does not stop when the clock strikes midnight on December 31st 2014. 2015 is shaping up to be another jam packed year with even more exciting events for you to come along and enjoy!
January is known as a month for detoxing (especially if you've eaten too much food at Christmas!) So we're giving you the chance to detox your business. We'll be running events that make you think differently about running a business and how to generate ideas.
In February we have Media Mingle on the 5th. At Cyncoed Campus, Alumni and entrepreneurs will combine to share their expertise about the world of media.
Then it's THE BIG ONE. It's Ignite (19th-23rd Feb). The four day enterprise skills programme with a 24 hour business challenge. Take it from a former Ignite participant, it could well be the greatest thing you ever do at Uni.
