Check out the Telecom / Cabling Boot Camp
March 9 - May 29, 2015
This hands-on boot camp covers basic concepts of telecommunications equipment, cable installation and other skills needed in the telecommunication field.
Students will learn:
- Copper and fiber optic termination
- Termination, basic testing and troubleshooting
- Fire stopping and fire safety practices - install fire stop systems in classroom simulations
- Industry codes and standards, industry best practices, and professionalism

Introducing the Launch Box Growth Accelerator
A business accelerator functions to give a start-up business a quick start by providing support and access to high-growth and tech-driven mentorship as well as commercialized assistance. Businesses that qualify generally have a well-established idea and are ready to use the intensive program to get their product to market.
- 12-week “hands-on” program
- Priority focus may be given to veteran, minority, women and other underrepresented-led start-ups
- Priority given to Kenosha County, RacineCounty and Walworth County residents
- Five to seven entrepreneurial teams will be selected
- First cohort will begin March 2, 2015
- Opportunities offered to network and occasions to pitch ideas and start-ups to investors
- Result of the program is $10,000 seed grants
- “Folding” requirement for graduates, in that they will be expected to give back by mentoring future cohorts

Peeling Back the Layers of 3D Printing
