It's been awhile ...
since I've used this email list. At first I was just giving everyone a break because I know they were getting a pretty constant stream of things from me through May and June about Time Signature. Then, it's just been busy but not in the way that there was much to update you about. Well, now there are some things to talk about it. So, let's jump in.

Remember last year when I was trying to fund my first feature and didn't quite make it? Well, after that I spent a lot of time re-working the script, regrouping, and building my team. I could have just given up on it and decided to move on to something else. Except, I still want to make the film. So, instead of trying to fund it again I've decided to make it with (as I have been jokingly saying in conversation over the past couple of months) "pocket change and favors."
So, that's what we're doing. Right now. I've scheduled this email to go out during the middle of our first day of shooting: November 22nd. As of the sending of this newsletter we are actively in production on the film. Yay? We are planning to shoot as cast and crew are available through the first few months of 2015.

Post-production on Time Signature is nearly done. Post-production is very much about details and making minor adjustments that can make a huge difference. Once the film is complete and ready to be seen I will be sharing it with everyone who will give me the time to share it. In the meantime, you can listen to the band Radiana, who have generously allowed us to use their music for the film.

So, it took us quite awhile to wrap up but we finally finished shooting for Kitty Ostapowicz's writing debut 600 Steps a few weeks ago. You may recall that 600 Steps was one of the two shorts we shot on March 31st at 1 Knickerbocker (now known as Kings County Saloon). The other short Ione's Date is available to watch now, if you hadn't had a chance, yet. Watch it on Vimeo.

Speaking of the band Radiana, I have signed on to produce a web series based around the band and, in particular, their lead singer, Lisa Hammer (formerly the voice of Triana Orpheus on the popular Adult Swim series The Venture Bros.). It's a very funny series and we've been actively working on it since September, and have, in fact, shot 3 of the planned 14 episodes. I'll keep you updated on our progress throughout 2015.
