What's up?

Missions Sunday. This Sunday is our annual highlight of agencies, ministries and partners whom we work with to make the love of Christ known around our world. Don't miss this special morning (ONE SERVICE at 10:00 a.m.). Each year, we hope our members and guests discover ways of personal obedience to give, serve, send and go.

Holiday Schedule. Throughout the rest of November, we'll be moving into our holiday schedule. We will have ONE SERVICE at 10:00 a.m. throughout the month of November.

Beginning in December, we enter our sixth year of December Nights! There will be NO Sunday morning services throughout the month. Instead, we host beautiful evening services at special locations, designed to augment your experience of the Christmas season in a way that will aid your worship, our fellowship and provide a wonderful way for you to INVITE friends, families and co-workers to these themed services.

December 7: A Night of Christmas concert at Blacksburg High School, 5:00 p.m.
December 14: December Nights services at old Main Street Baptist Church in downtown Christiansburg, 5:00 & 6:30 p.m. (two services)
December 21: December Nights service at MSBC, 5:00 p.m.
December 28: December Nights service at MSBC, 5:00 p.m.

Celebrate salvation and faith
Our next baptism service is scheduled for this Sunday, November 16. If you're a Christian and have not been baptized and desire to be obedient in this area, fill out our baptism interest form.

College Movie Night

Northstar's Connect is hosting a movie night on November 15 at 8 p.m. in the Ambler Johnston theater! Admission is free for you and your friends, and we’ll have a snack table with movie treats. We’ll be meeting at Deet’s at 7:45 p.m. and walking people over.

The fifth annual celebration of GAPsGiving (Thanksgiving potluck!) will be held this Saturday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Fieldstone Church. Find your fat pants, and bring some friends and food!

A Night of Christmas concert!

This year, December Nights begins with a special Christmas concert led by the Northstar Band and children. This special evening will be at Blacksburg High School, and we hope you'll begin now INVITING friends, family and coworkers. It's a fantastic way to launch your Christmas season.

PRAISE & THANKSGIVING SERVICE

The Sunday before Thanksgiving, we will be having a special service designed for you to share and worship. We have so much to be thankful for as the people of God, and we want to magnify Christ with all our hearts on that special day through music, testimony and video. It will be an ideal Sunday to bring guests!

DECEMBER NIGHTS

REST. REFLECT. REJOICE. RENEW

December Nights has become somewhat of a tradition around Northstar Church. During the month of December we don’t have Sunday morning church. We move our services to the evenings, and we focus on the theme of Rest. Reflect. Rejoice. Renew. It’s a beautiful season to refocus our spirits on Him who makes all things new.

GET YOUR SERVE ON

We're looking for new volunteers! Whether it's greeting members and guests at the door, helping with setup or tear down or even putting pens on the seats in the auditorium, there are a lot of tasks on Sunday morning that are staffed entirely by volunteers. For most, serving on Sundays opens up new friendships with people in Northstar that you wouldn't meet otherwise.

JANUARY CONCERT!

Rend Collective and a familiar face...

Northstar has partnered with Belmont Christian Church to help bring the band Rend Collective into town this January at Christiansburg High School! It's going to be a popular concert, so make sure to get your tickets today here. To make it even more fun, our very own Cody Davenport will be opening the concert!
