Hearth Place invites you to be a part of this international movement by giving back!
GivingTuesday is a new Canadian movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Cyber Monday. It is the 'opening day of the giving season', it is a day where charities, companies and individuals join together to share commitments, rally for causes and think about others.
In the days following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesdayCa offers the opportunity to give back. For Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre, giving back means sharing our experience and knowledge so we can support individuals facing cancer.
Here's how you can help:
- Start your own #BeAGameChanger challenge. Start a campaign for Hearth Place by using your talents and everyday acts of kindness to encourage donations. Read more here.
- Make an online donation to Hearth Place and show your support for someone affected by cancer.
- Volunteer your time with Hearth Place. We are in need of volunteers for our events as well as everyday reception volunteers to help with office duties. Please email us at carolyn@hearthplace.org if you are interested.
- Find us on Facebook and Twitter, join the movement, share your story and share how Hearth Place has helped you by liking us and leaving a comment or rating. You'll help us raise awareness about #GivingTuesdayCa and Hearth Place.
