Today we are facing an almost overwhelming number of choices that constantly vie for our attention. The 2015 Parliament is bringing three major themes into focus to drive results that will help humanity.

The sustainability of our planet, economic disparities, and global violence are raising intense concern around the world, but especially among young people.

The empowering news is that surveys show that the Interfaith Movement has tripled in the last decade- in large part due to the growing involvement of emerging leaders.

During last week's American Academy of Religion annual conference, hundreds of scholars from renowned universities and seminaries, experts in the studies of religion, pluralism, and burgeoning interfaith studies- told us the same thing:

"I'm Bringing My Students to the 2015 Parliament!"

Young people care deeply about these causes, acting consciously and passionately about the environmental, social, and economic impact they create in the world.

Advertising agencies understand this, too:

  • Around 70 percent of young Americans are considered "social activists" by brands and marketers.
  • Of these millions of globally conscious consumers, 3 in 5 are young women!
  • With these promising developments, the Parliament is resounding in its view that a world of compassion with peace, justice, and sustainability is possible!

The Parliament invites all youth, emerging leaders and millennials to propose programs and register for the 2015 global interfaith summit! This will be a life-changing experience for every participant with trainings, leadership opportunities, and entertainment, too!

How You Can Support the Future of the Interfaith Movement by Sponsoring Youth

Whereas students are leading the charge in many areas a Parliament addresses, since they are students with limited budgets (not to mention the whole student loan thing!) their participation in the interfaith movement is constrained. For that reason we have reduced student registration to only $79 when they register early. At the same time, we are inviting you to offset that cost by donating for our student fund. Some of the attendees will need scholarships.

These gifts will help pass the torch of the interfaith movement to a vibrant generation of emerging voices. You can offer these gifts at registration.
When you register by December 10, you will save 60%, and youth subsidy will save 70%!

If you are unable to attend the 2015 Parliament or have already registered and would like to make a gift, we thank you to visit our secure, tax-deductible gifts page here.

Why emerging interfaith leaders say they are coming to the 2015 Parliament...

Tahil Sharma: The wisdom of the past is now in our laps, ready for us to take action in a world that is falling apart. The realities around us make the world seem like an abyss, but I challenge my peers to write a new chapter in history. The Parliament is the stage that will help us settle the score against all the injustices of our past and bring us together as a human race to do what is right, to strengthen the peace, justice, and sustainability that will bring us a better today. And it must start today.

Sara Rahim: I firmly believe that all voices need to be a part of the interfaith conversation, especially those of young people. I'll be attending the 2015 Parliament of the World's Religions in Salt Lake City because I hope to advocate for the work that young people are doing to build bridges within their communities.

Aamir Hussain: It's important for young leaders to attend the Parliament of the World's Religion because its a unique opportunity for our voices to be heard; most faith traditions are represented by older people and they usually dominate conversations. I am going because I have a unique combination of interests in religion, healthcare, and public policy, and I'm hoping to find people who share my interests and passion for interfaith cooperation. Plus, all three of those fields would benefit extensively from interfaith work.

Ashley Campbell: My generation, as current and future leaders, need to engage in interfaith dialogue to develop ways to address religious illiteracy for better international communication and harmonious relations from the ground-up.
