Help future grad students by strengthening graduate orientation activities for the Graduate & Professional Studies Symposium (GPSS). How can you help? Simply participate in a brief, 1-hour discussion about graduate orientation activities.
Two dates are available:
- Thursday, Nov. 20th (11am-noon)
- Wednesday Nov. 26 (1-2pm)
Tell us your story and what Laurier can do to better prepare future students for the realities of grad school. As a bonus, enjoy some free food from Wilf's.

Don't miss out on a $15,000 scholarship
Continuing your graduate studies next year? Apply for the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS).
The OGS program, jointly funded by the Province of Ontario and Laurier, is valued at $15,000. OGS awards are merit-based scholarships available to graduate students pursuing a graduate degree at Laurier.
Laurier's online application closes on February 2, 2015. Eligible graduate students can complete and submit an application online at: https://web.wlu.ca/ogsp/

Leading in the Application Economy
Listen to Mike Gregoire, CEO of CA Technologies as he describes a world where everyone is in the software business. As leader of a software company with more than $4 billion in global sales, Gregoire sees a new world where customers are interacting with businesses via software, where data is being turned into revenue, and where the applications a business develops are becoming their face to the world, and their brand.
This free public lecture is on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 7pm.

Advancing Human Genetics into Health Action
Health Science Inquiry is an annual online publication that publishes the thoughts and views of Canadian graduate students on pertinent issues in the health and medical sciences. The theme of the next issue is "Advancing Human Genetics into Health Action" and HSI is currently accepting submissions. The submission deadline is February 2rd, 2015.
