Now that November is here it is time for The Tree House CAC staff to say Thanks for Giving! In this newsletter we’d like to pass along our gratitude to all of our wonderful donors and supporters. To do so we’ve complied quotes and brief stories from children and families seen at The Tree House, as well as from the staff that works with them. “To the person who helped us with donations , I thank you with all my heart. God bless you always.” – A Mother (translated from Spanish) “There was a pre-teenage girl who came into my office earlier this year to pick out a small gift from our donations. It was her birthday. After she chose her gift, she noticed some baby bottles on a high shelf. She turned to me and said, “My aunt is going to have a baby. May I take something for the baby?” I told her she could and she proceeded to put back her own birthday gift. I told her to keep it and wished her a very happy birthday.” - Nina Blecher, Community Outreach Coordinator

We are overjoyed to be the recipient of a $5,000 grant from The Nora Roberts Foundation. We’ll apply the grant to our Give a Child a Lift Campaign; allowing The Tree House to continue to offer free transportation to our clients.
The Nora Roberts Foundation supports Literacy, Children's programs, Arts organizations, and Humanitarian efforts, with local organizations being its priority. The Foundation recognizes children face many challenges in today's world and applauds those who support and encourage children to reach their full potential.
