Hello,

How was your Thanksgiving? 

Did you spend it with friends or family or were you on your own? 

Any way you slice it, you got through it and hopefully you enjoyed it and felt some of the gratitude of the season.

So, we are now firmly in HOLIDAY mode.  The countdown to Christmas, Chanukah and other major religious and commercial holidays is well underway.  I love driving around town to see the holiday lights and I even enjoy listening to my share of Christmas carols on the radio. 

However, the holiday season is a mixed bag for many people. With shorter days, some people experience more seasonal depression while others may even feel suicidal. 

Some may miss family members who are no longer here or with whom they are no longer connected, while others are struggling with finances and cannot be as generous or in the spirit as they might like.  This week’s blog is here to support you or to help you support others who may find this a less than jolly time of year.

And remember, we are here to help (if you need us).
