Save The Date: Salish Sea Ballet's In-Studio Performance will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015!
Students will perform excerpts from Swan Lake for our second annual In-Studio Performance. This performance gives students the opportunity to showcase the ballet skills they have learned over the year. Last year's performance was such a success that we will have TWO SHOWS this year - a matinee and an evening performance (times TBA)!
Each class will perform in at least one piece adapted from the Swan Lake ballet and choreographed specifically to their age and skill level. Recital packets containing expected time commitments, costume information, and other specific details pertaining to your dancer's class will be handed out during class time after winter break. If you have questions in the meantime, send an email or talk to Miss Jeanne after class. It's going to be a great show!

Ballet Improvisation & Choreography Workshops in January
Did you know that dancing cures the winter blues? It's a fact!
Get your body moving and your creativity flowing with our two-week ballet improvisation workshop. Miss Jeanne will inspire dancers to dance "outside the box" and apply ballet technique to creative dance. No experience is necessary - bring a friend!
Dancers will discover their unique impulse for movement, explore the connection between their inner self and outer expression, and learn to develop choreography. Adult students will also learn the "Mad, Mad Businessman" variation which is just as fun as it sounds. You won't want to miss it!
Saturday January 24 and 31, 2015
Young Dancers (ages 6-10): 11am - 1pm
Adult students: 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Attend one week for $29 or both weeks for only $49
Current Salish Sea Ballet students (who have taken at least one class in the same month as the workshops) receive a 10% discount on the workshop fee!

You asked for it... Semester tuition discounts now available!
New for 2015: Salish Sea Ballet has added a semester tuition payment option. The spring semester runs January 5, 2015 - May 31, 2015. Semester tuition rates offer additional savings off the monthly rate:
45 minutes/week (Pre-Ballet and Ballet Basics): $240
1 hour/week (Ballet 1 or Ballet 2 one class/week): $275
2 hours/week (Ballet 2): $475
Important: semester tuition is non-refundable. In order to qualify for these special rates, full payment must be received by January 9, 2015.
