New website launches Dec. 18

The scheduled launch date for the new Bemidji State university website homepage and initial departmental pages is now Dec. 18, avoiding website changes during the important final weeks of the semester.

Representatives of the university's website partner, White Whale Web Services, will again be on campus Dec. 9-10 to meet with additional departments whose websites will launch toward the end of the project, scheduled for completion in March or early April.

Campus offices may be closed on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2

The holiday season is fast approaching and many of you are making plans to spend time with your family, friends and loved ones.  With that in mind, BSU and NTC departments may close their offices on Friday, December 26 and Friday, January 2 if all employees in the office would like the time off.  Keep in mind, the offices are not required to be closed and anyone who decides not to work will be required to use vacation time or personal time, unless you already have the day off per your bargaining unit contract.

I hope you have a wonderful time as you celebrate the holidays.

Thank you!

Dick Hanson
