November 2014 Update:

New Game Announcement
Hello! This month's newsletter includes our second new game announcement this fall, a special pre-order for signed copies of Euphoria's second printing, shipping updates for our current products, and a quick survey of people who like jigsaw puzzles.

New Game Announcement

A few months ago, Jamey discovered an Polish artist named Jakub Rozalski when his amazing illustrations were featured on Kotaku. Jakub had started a new series of particularly evocative paintings set in an alternate-history 1920s in which powerful mechs lumbered across rural Poland and Russia just as actual soldiers did in real history (see cover art below).

Jakub and Jamey have joined forces to create a board game in that world. Jakub is building the world and illustrating the game, and Jamey is designing the game and developing it with Alan. You can read more about the mechanisms of the game on our website, but here's the core idea:

Scythe (2-5 players, 60-90 minutes) is a board game set in an alternate-history 1920s. It is a time of farming and war, broken hearts and rusted gears, innovation and valor. Think of it as Agricola meets Kemet with asymmetric factions.

Scythe is still very early in the design and worldbuilding process, and we hope to launch it on Kickstarter sometime in 2015. In the meantime, if you're interested in the game, you can go to BGG to give a thumb to the cover art here or become a fan/subscribe. You can also follow Jakub's worldbuilding art on his Facebook page.
