If you are planning to listen to HUD’s Welcome to Preservation Webinar, please note that in addition to registering for the webinar through the training page link you must also register through GoToWebinar. To do so, please do the following:

If you have already registered for the Webinar on the HUD Exchange:

1. Once you have clicked on the training link and have selected “Register,” look at the left menu bar of your screen.
2. Click on “Courses I’ve Enrolled in.”
3. When the screen refreshes, you will see “Welcome to Preservation: Strategies to Preserve and Refinance HUD Supported Affordable Rental Properties under “Course Name.” 
4. Click on the radio button next to “Welcome to Preservation: Strategies to Preserve and Refinance HUD Supported Affordable Rental Properties."
5. When the screen refreshes again, scroll to the very bottom of the page and click on the course name. This will open the GoToWebinar Registration page.
6. Enter your information in the fields marked with an asterisk on the GoToWebinar registration page and select “Register Now.”

If you have not registered for the Webinar, but would like to do so:

If you have a HUD Exchange Account:

1. Enter your Username and Password
2. Select Log in
   You will be directed to HUD Exchange Learn
3. Select the training
4. Select Enroll in this Class
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the course detail screen called ILT Activities and select the Class Name titled “Welcome to Preservation: Strategies to Preserve and Refinance Affordable Housing Properties Webinar” 
6. You will be brought to the GoToWebinar registration page. Complete the registration fields and click “Register Now”
7. You will receive a registration confirmation email containing the details of the webinar

If you do not have a HUD Exchange Account, follow these instructions:

1. Select Create an Account.
   You will be directed to Step 1 of 2
2. Fill out all the required fields. 
   Note: Select None of the Above and I am an Individual, for Organization Information, If you are not affiliated with a HUD program
3. Select Next. 
   You will be directed to Step 2 of 2
4. Select all applicable HUD Program Experience
5. Select Register
   You now have a HUD Exchange Account and can enroll in the training.

To Enroll in the Webinar:

1. Select the training page link
   You will be directed to the webinar registration page
   Select Register Now on the right side of the page
2. You will be brought directly to the course detail page in HUD Exchange Learn
3. Select the checkbox next to the class name and location, and then select Submit Request
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the course detail screen called ILT Activities and select the Class Name titled Welcome to Preservation: Strategies to Preserve and Refinance Affordable Housing Properties Webinar 
5. You will be brought to the GoToWebinar registration page. Complete the registration fields and click “Register Now”
6. You will receive a registration confirmation email containing the details of the webinar

Important Note

Once you have registered for the course on both the HUD Exchange and GoToWebinar, you will receive a confirmation from GoToWebinar containing the actual webinar link. You will use this link to access the webinar on Tuesday, December 2. We recommend that you try this link before the webinar is scheduled to begin at 2 PM to ensure that you can upload the GoToWebinar software, if you need to.
