Happy New Year! Hope you had some time to rest and enjoy the holiday season! :)
Now that it's 2015, I have some pretty big news to share with you! I've been hoping to write and perform under a stage name for a long time. Lately, Erin Rea has been getting mixed up with a few other artists. This is totally fine, but a little confusing for everyone. My last name is also going to change soon (!), so I realized that this was a great time to make the switch.
From here on out, I will be writing, performing, and releasing music as "Rorie," a name that hints at a nickname I've been called for years by friends and strangers alike. My website and social media presence has changed to:

Same person, same music, new name. And I'm very excited!
My first project as "Rorie" will be to record a new single, "Restore," which I wrote while working for a non-profit called Nomi Network in NYC. After performing the song at their gala in May and at a benefit concert in October, I received many requests for a studio version. This winter I'll be launching a Kickstarter Campaign to raise funds to record the song and to film a powerful video along with it. My talented friend Jenavene Bazacas is going to sing on the track as well, and we are assembling a super awesome and creative team for the video and release. I'll get back to you soon with more details!
