George Winston and One Lucky Guy
Hello My Friends,

Well, Sunday is upon us once again. So quickly the days come and go. I hope you had an abundantly fruitful week. Yes, thank you for asking, I did, indeed.  And as it is yet another Day of the Sun, I am happy to be able to send out a little newsletter love, sharing with you an overview of the week past, as well as some musings on my hopes and expectations of of the week to come.

So...shall we?

This was a special week for me as I was able to see George Winston perform, he being one of my all-time favorite musicians. And not only did I get to see him perform, I was able to meet with him after the performance. Consequently, a big chunk of my writing this past week focused on this big chunk of an event.

As for creative writing, I published a Haiku, a Flash Fiction piece, and a children's poem from Poem Man. My Friend, My Advisor

The Happily Disgruntled Writer graced us with his grumpy presence as he reflected on writing discipline and follow-through.

I continued to solicit for submissions for the Relating to Humans feature, as well as the Indie Author Book Selection & Review. While we're talking about the Relating to Humans feature, now is as good a time as any to profile the submissions for the past week, which were to the Political Issues and Poetry sub-features, respectively.
And the submissions for the Indie Author Book Selection & Review Volume 2 so far are:

Hey Author, what's your book about?

I had been threatening to do it for months, and this past week I finally got it on line...much to your dismay, I'm sure. :) Writer's Life Series 001

And, as I love to capture the moment with my old yet still reliable smartphone, I posted several photographs, most of which were processed through the GIMP photo-editing software.

Wow, I had no idea so much was going on last week at my site. I wonder what the new week has in store. To be honest I'm not too sure. Maybe we'll come up with another "Pro" Tip. It's been a while since we've seen one of those and I have a few less than pointy tips to make (well, one is more like another gripe...sorry). More photos, for sure. And I've been working on an essay for the Relating to Humans feature that I hope to get out next week. Fingers crossed.

There are a couple of things I've been meaning to do for a long time that I hope to complete soon. Yeah, I've been meaning to publish my poetry collection Poems from the River as a print edition ever since I published it for the Kindle oh so long ago. I would really really like to get that done soon. And since it seems that, so far, the poems from Poem Man have been relatively well received, I'd like to take another stab at publishing it and putting it out as both a new print edition, as well as an electronic edition for the Kindle. Again, fingers crossed.

So yeah, thanks for hangin' out with me here, my friends. You just can't imagine how important your company is to me.

Thank you for reading.
Sincerely...
