Footnotes Vol. 5
Welcome to our final newsletter for 2014
This month we are thrilled to announce The Footpath Library joins  the fundraising platform Promise or Pay which you can read more about in this edition. As Christmas approaches and we think of those less fortunate than ourselves, you may like to make a donation to brighten the lives of our homeless customers. I hope you all have a very happy, healthy and safe Christmas.

Give the joy of a book this Christmas
Photography by sarilonka - http://craftegem.blogspot.com
Children in homeless families are now the largest single group who seek support from the homeless service system. On a basic level, homelessness for children means missing out. Missing out on the things that other children take for granted such as a safe place to sleep every night, school excursions, regular nutritious meals and the opportunity to bring friends home after school. Please donate $5 to The Footpath Library and give the joy of a book to a homeless child this Christmas.

“Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!”
