GOT SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET? SO DOES JESUS!

Unwanted pregnancy? Potential divorce? Failed paternity test? Wait – there is more! A virgin gets pregnant? And not by the man she is engaged to? Does this not have the makings of a serious scandal?

Yup – that’s how it all began for the one who was to be the Savior of the world…
Admittedly, the life of Jesus got off to a shaky start. This all begs the question as to why would God allow such scandalous circumstances to engulf what was supposed to be the coming salvation of the world? Why would He call Joseph and Mary to risk their reputation, family and lives by putting them in such strange circumstances? What kind of God does this kind of thing? Isn’t all of this just a tad bit unholy?

“The Daily Herald”
Family Christmas Program

In a small town somewhere in America in 1934, in the office of The Daily Herald, during the Christmas season - LIFE IS NEVER DULL.

Join us for an evening of music and comedy on Sat., Dec. 13 at 7:00p! Musical numbers include the Christmas Children’s Choir (K – 5th), Adult Choir, and other special music. Our own ESV Troupe will present the comedy “The Daily Herald.”

We will have a time of fellowship following the program in the MPR. If you can, please bring a plate of your delicious cookies to share.

One For You, One For A Friend
A note from Jan Keim, Director of "The Daily Herald

On Sunday, you will find two "newspapers" in your church box. One is for you; the other is to give to someone - a co-worker, neighbor, or a relative who may not enter the church doors for a Sunday service, but will come for an evening of laughter and music during this special holiday season. They will hear the gospel, giving you an opportunity to answer questions and share Jesus with them. Please be praying for this opportunity to invite someone you care about. - Blessings this Christmas, Jan Keim
