Annual Meeting in Review
Members enjoyed an annual meeting packed with good content and time with each other. There are two great ways to continue connecting with your southern peers throughout 2015:
1.) Make sure you’re signed up to access the member website. Send
Maggie and
Natalie a note to set up an account. By doing this you are also agreeing to the website privacy statement ""I won't share private information without the author's consent."
2.)
Sign up for a work group that interests you:
- Social equity in residential energy efficiency efforts
- Community engagement lessons learned
- Local food
- Establishing buy-in from city/county staff
- Residential energy efficiency and outreach
- Utility bill management, software, and energy policy
Calls will be scheduled in January to scope work group activities.

Funding Application Updates
The next Partners for Places RFP will come out around December 5. Proposals will be due 6 weeks later. We suggest that you begin conversations now with funders about potential common interests so by the time the RFP comes out, you will be ready to craft a joint proposal. You can view the latest RFP
here.
Let Julia Parzen know if you need help getting started or if you have questions along the way. For more information on Partners for Places, please visit the
Funders’ Network website.
Potential Collaboration Opportunity
