CYT Santa Cruz Weekly Update-Nov 24th

Class Information

Hey CYT students,

We have a great lineup of classes for Winter! Our Core classes include Shakespeare with Mrs. Novak, Teen Core Dance:Shrek with Mr. Marchessault, Teen Core Voice: Worship with Miss Ceseña and Kids Core Acting:Jack in the Beanstalk with Ms. Torchio!

We have a great Triple Threat class for kids where you have the opportunity to sing dance and act to Tangled with Miss Preston and Mrs. Moose!!!!! And for the younger students, Our Gang:Goldilocks and the Three Bears with Mrs. Oak will get kids to learn to act and be creative!

2 brand new classes: Worship Vocal Class for teens taught by various worship artists with vocal technique taught by Mrs. Ceseña! We are also offering a Kids Musical Theory class! More details to come on that one!

We will be offering a Tech class where you can learn about stage management, lighting, and sound with teachers Skip Epperson, and Jeff Eitzen! Last but certainly not least we will have a class for the Improv Team with Miss Preston, meeting at 6:45, after our regular classes!

Annie Friends and Family!! What a show! One more weekend to go!

Strike Party Information:

Strike Party is awesome!! It's fun putting on a show, but theater also comes with responsibility! It's just like a family dinner. You don't just eat and leave a mess for someone else to clean up! The whole cast/crew along with their families is needed to "strike" the set (take everything down and out) to put Louden back to the way it was, or even better, than before we came!

Then our Strike party begins at 7pm!! There will be Secret Pal reveals, cast group skits, acknowledgments, awards, and a delicious New York style dinner. It's a time to enjoy all the hard work we have put in AND spend one last time together as the Annie Cast!!

Beauty and the Best Audition Information:

It's not too late to get registered for a Winter Class so you can audition for Beauty and the Beast!!

Please refer to your CYT Winter class "REGISTRATION EMAIL" confirmation for your access code to complete this registration.

AUDITION PACKET MUST BE BROUGHT TO AUDITION. Please download at www.cytsantacruz.org.

Thursday, December 4, 6:45pm - 8:15pm (High Street Community Church, directly after 1st class)

Friday, Dec 5, 5:00pm-8:30pm (Vintage Faith Church)

Hello Families! What a great opening weekend! Here is the call for the next few days of performances.

Tuesday November 25th, Performances at 9:30 and 12:30
Call is 8:00am SHARP
That leaves us only an hour and a half until showtime. Please be fed, with hair and makeup before you arrive on Tuesday.

Saturday November 29th, Performances at 3:00pm and 7:00pm
Call at 1:00pm

Sunday November 30th, Performance at 3:00pm
Call at 1:00pm

Don't forget our awesome Strike Party after we strike and clean up Louden on Sunday!
