Last Minute Availability – Saturday 29th November, CPC R2 Exam Preparation Day
Supporting candidates in their preparations, RHA Training is running a specific course designed to familiarise and test candidates on the R2 CPC Exam. The course is held at RHA Peterborough and a small number of spaces are available.

2015 – Three Extra CPC for Transport Mangers courses available 
Due to the ever increasing level of bookings, RHA Training is delighted to announce that an extra three 10-Day CPC for Transport Managers courses are now available starting in February 2015. Driver CPC Training – Reminder
There are 4 years 10 months remaining before the new fixed deadline to complete 35 hours Driver CPC Periodic Training. Drivers who gained their commercial HGV licence since September 2009 will have their own deadline.

Recent changes have taken place allowing more I.D. options for drivers to bring to Periodic Training courses.

Scotland & Northern Ireland Training

New Drink Drive Limit for Scotland!
With Christmas fast approaching it seems appropriate to remind you of this very timely piece of legislation. On the 5th of December 2014 the Road Traffic Act (Prescribed Limit) (Scotland) Regulations 2014 will come into effect. The result of this amendment to the Road Traffic Act will be the lowering of the drink drive limit in Scotland, the new limits are;
 
Current Limit New Limit Measurement
35 22 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath
80 50 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood
107 67 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine

There are no current plans to reduce the limits in England and Wales; however in Northern Ireland there are plans to reduce the limit even further for new drivers and those who drive professionally. The Road Traffic (Amendment) Bill in Northern Ireland is due to move to the committee stage in March 2015 having passed the second stage in May this year.

Driver CPC Train the Trainer Course
Our 5 day Train the Trainer Course is aimed at individuals who have responsibility for driver training within their organisation or who may be considering training drivers commercially. The course has been specifically designed to satisfy the requirements for instructor technique and subject knowledge set out in the DCPC Regulations. 

Delegates will receive a 7 hour training module as part of the course which will allow them to start training as soon as they are approved, as well as 7 hours towards their own DCPC qualification if required.
