Donna participated in a panel discussion titled “Engaging in Meaningful Activities”, which is, of course, the whole concept behind the Montessori Methods that we teach.

To help participants gain a better understanding of how simple activities can be used to engage people any time they could benefit from it, we created and donated sets of activities for each table. Donna explained how the activities could be kept at hand and how to present them quickly and easily.

It was heartening to see the number of people who came by our booth after the presentation to say how the discussion gave them some great ideas about how to better engage residents and how they could use activities such as the ones we gave away to help people everyday.
