North York Arts E-News - December 2014

Connect. Share. Learn. Celebrate. - Through NYA’s Community Network!

North York Arts (NYA) is currently planning our programs and events for 2015 and we will be keeping you informed through NYA’s Community Network. The Network is made up of individuals and organizations committed to developing and experiencing the arts community in North York.

In early 2015, members of the Network will learn more about space opportunities at the Toronto Centre for the Arts along with upcoming professional development workshops. And of course, we want to hear from the Community Network, so we are planning a session in January to have your voice heard!

And thanks to the Toronto Centre for the Arts for their support and collaboration since 2011 and recently on NYA’s programs at the Centre, including the fabulous launch event on November 19th. We look forward to working together and continuing to support the arts community in North York in 2015.

Best,

Lila Karim
Managing Director
North York Arts

NYA has a New Arts Hub at Toronto Centre for the Arts:

On November 19th we celebrated some exciting news! NYA has a new home and arts space at Toronto Centre for the Arts. Establishing a hub space at the TCA ushers in a new era for art and community by offering greater community access and connecting North York neighbourhoods to the arts. Thank you to everyone who braved the winter storm to be there, and for those who missed it, here are some of the highlights!
