How is the new email format working for you? I think I've gotten it figured out now. Did you get what you signed up for, and only what you signed up for? Please write to us at xansaker@gmail.com and let us know!

Dear family and friends,

Right now, as I write this, we are in Kherson, a city that is an overnight train ride away from Dneprorudnoe (map). But more on that later.... First, the main events of our springtime:

Easter was a wonderful time of celebration and fellowship. I don't have photos of that here with us, but you can go back and see what I posted on our blog, if you are interested. On Resurrection Sunday, we got to celebrate with the local church and also visit a village church, plus other opportunities in the days and weeks afterwards. Since the Easter season still continues here, I'll greet you with Христос Воскрес! (Christ is Risen!)

Also, just before Easter, Will was able to travel to Khmelnitsky for a few days of training put on by Agape, the orphan ministry that we had been wanting to find out more about.
He was hoping to meet up with Agape's director there after trying to get in touch with him for months. Will enjoyed the training and even had a little bit of time with old friends from camps in Russia. The director of Agape wasn't able to come, but they finally set a time for us to visit them.

And that brings us to where we are now. We are visiting Agape in Kherson, where they are based. It has been something of a strange trip, just because Jaan came down with chicken pox almost as soon as we got here. So, Will was running around all over, while I was pretty much keeping Jaan in quarantine. However, now Jaan is starting to get well, and we’re staying for an extra week. Will has definitely had good time getting to see Agape, meeting people, and even helping out with translation projects. We’re both really impressed. We don’t know any details yet, but we probably will be working with them in the future. Please continue to pray with us about all of this!

Coming up...
Directly ahead of us, we have this second week with Agape. Then, we’ll get back to Dneprorudnoe just in time for church camp (and chicken pox for the rest of our children?). Right after that I want to make a short trip to visit a friend who is in the middle of the adoption process here in Ukraine. Then, in July, we will be heading to Odessa to work in English camps with Will’s sister and a group from his home church. We’re really excited about ministering with them!

We will keep you updated about our future plans, as much as we can. It’s all still very vague. We welcome any questions that you have, but we ourselves may not know the answers to them yet. Thank you so much for your prayers for us, every step of the way!

Love and prayers from,
Will and Phyllis Hunsucker
