Dear Moms and Dads
On Saturday Irene, Colleen, Bonita and myself went on a Grade R Workshop organised by our Teacher Union Naptosa. Dee unfortunately had a cortisone injection in her back and was not able to come with us.
The workshop was fantastic!!
Some excellent speakers who spoke on Assessment in Grade R, How to get children ‘Wired To Learn’ and an awesome final session from 2pm-3pm on motivating yourself and your staff to be dynamic, the best that you can be in creating a healthy, fun, stimulating environment for your children and your parents at your school. To make the choice to be extraordinary rather than ordinary!!
Our Grade R meeting that we had here last Thursday evening was also lovely. We were able to share our knowledge of the importance of the Grade R year and answer some questions that parents had. Thanks to those who came. We will definitely do it again sometime as it was most beneficial.

OPEN DAY EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 9am
Please note any prospective parents wanting to have a look at our wonderful school, can come on a Wednesday at 9am. It is a fantastic opportunity to see the school in action. Please share this information with friends and family that may be looking for a spot for their child.

FOOD FOR A FRIEND
Every Wednesday we would like to ask if you could provide an extra sandwich, fruit or tinned food item. We take these food stuffs to Rainbow Educare every Thursday. Their children get a rice dish daily, supplied by an NGO, and we would like to add to that.
|
|
FOOD/BLANKET DRIVE
We are collecting tinned food, blankets, warm clothes including baby clothes, beanies and children’s books and toys.
We would like to donate to charities helping those who were wiped out by the cold weather this weekend, but also for the children and babies at False Bay Hospital who are in desperate need. Thanks!!
