Swarm season is still going strong here in Portland, Oregon and the rest of the USA. So far we've had far more calls than last year, and our team has been working hard capturing swarms and getting them to our customers. If you have a hive but no bees, we highly recommend that you try baiting it with lemongrass oil to attract a swarm. Just this year we've had dozens of customers let us know that they now have bees using this method. This works with top bar hives, Warre hives, Langstroth hives and everything in between.
