1) 2013 PEI Status of Women Equality Report Card Released
Members of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women are very proud to release our Equality Report Card assessing government's progress on women's equality goals. Find out why the Advisory Council on the Status of Women gave government a grade of "C" for equality and diversity initiatives.

The Advisory Council is very grateful to all who contributed to the Equality Report Card as respondents within government, from community organizations, and as participants in focus groups. 2) PEI Status of Women Summer Hours
Summer hours at the Advisory Council on the Status of Women office in Charlottetown will begin on July 2nd and continue until September 3rd. The office will be open and staff will be responding to emails and phone calls on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays throughout July and August. The office will be closed on Mondays and Fridays.
Our E-News will be sent out on Thursdays during the summer months. The deadline for community notices during July and August will be Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.

3) Mermaid Tears Seaglass Festival

It begins on Friday evening with a lecture by Richard LaMotte, author of Pure Sea Glass and continues Saturday and Sunday with a vendor fair of sea glass crafts and activities for the whole family—sea glass bingo, live music, children’s activities and crafts just to name a few. Enter your favourite piece of glass in the shared contest with prizes for best piece, best piece of pottery and most unusual.
