Market News - July 6

Withrow Park is the place to be this Saturday! We will have our full compliment of vendors at the market, bringing you the freshest selection of Ontario fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, and prepared foods. We'll have the first cherries, raspberries, and wild blueberries of the season - so yummy and fresh, they might be gobbled up before you make it home! There will also be fun kid's activities, wonderful music, and entertaining theatre. Come on down to the park - we'll be there, rain or shine!

FRESH this week!

Welcoming Back: Feast of Fields, located on the Niagara Escarpment near the town of Jordan, is Ontario’s only Demeter Certified, biodynamic vineyard and orchard.

Bi-Weekly Vendors: Brian Hamlin (honey), Manning Canning (jams, pickles, other preserves), and Weber's Natural Meats (meats, eggs) will be at the market this week. Watch for them to return every second week throughout July and August.

Many thanks to all of our market patrons who donated to our tent fund. In total, we raised $263 towards the purchase of a new tent. We couldn't have done it without you!

The market is open every Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm until October 26, rain or shine! Withrow Park is one block south of Danforth between Carlaw & Logan.

Dusk Dances produces outdoor dance events in parks. They need volunteers for set-up, ushering, information, and security at their Withrow Park dances, beginning Tues. July 30th to Sun. Aug. 4th. For more info, contact Kallee by email or call 647-226-7418.
