Thank you for riding in support of the Canucks for Kids Fund and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice in the 2013 Ride for Hope!  Your fundraising efforts for Canuck Place will help provide specialized pediatric palliative care to over 450 newborns, children and teens with life-threatening illnesses and their families from across British Columbia.

An event like this takes the contributions and energy of many! Special thanks to the Ride for Hope committee members, Canucks for Kids Fund, Zinetti Foods, Homelife Charity Golf Classic, London Drugs, corporate partners, the volunteers serving food, driving pace cars, trucking water, Fin, and the families who supported the riders at the finish.

Whether a life is measured in days, weeks, or months, children deserve the opportunity to learn develop and grow. The funds you have raised will support Canuck Place in delivering respite and family support; art, education, music and recreation therapy; pain and symptom management; grief and loss counselling; and end-of-life care.

Losing a child to a life-threatening illness is one of life’s greatest challenges. For children and families across BC, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is a place to go in their greatest time of need.
 
Congratulations on your physical journey. We know there was a big headwind that was relentless all day and a team that came together to make the destination and meet the wind head on. We also want you to know that the children, families and staff at Canuck Place were there with you in spirit – leading the riders and pulling you to reach your destination.
