Shape the Future of the Party

Dear Fellow Republican,

At county, district, and state conventions, we can influence the direction of our Republican Party and have our voices heard through resolutions. Resolutions are motions proposed, debated, and adopted which show the principles, beliefs, and feelings of party members. Resolutions can even be used to propose concrete action by the party. Resolutions shape the party.

At the State Convention in Athens just over a month ago, various resolutions were proposed by the Resolutions Committee and were not able to be debated or voted on due to loss of a quorum. This Saturday, June 22nd, the Georgia GOP State Committee will meet, debate, and vote on resolutions. Copies of these proposed resolutions can be found here.

If you have an opinion on any of these resolutions, it is your responsibility to have your voice heard and let your state committee members know your thoughts. These hard-working Republican leaders, elected at district conventions, are the ones representing you. It is your obligation to find out their beliefs and to give them the information needed to represent your beliefs. Their contact information can be found on the Georgia GOP Website, here.

Thank you for your leadership in the Republican Party and commitment to its principles.
