Our condolences to the family of Joan ('JoAnne') Greene, a long-time City Club member, who passed away April 11, 2013, in Chandler, AZ. You can read her obituary here.

CCTV Broadcast Schedule

SCC programs can be seen on CCTV, Comcast Cable Channel 21, for two weeks starting the Wednesday after the meeting on Wednesdays at 4pm, Thursdays at 4:30pm, Fridays at 7pm, and Saturdays at 1pm.

THE ANNUAL MEETING: During the May 29 Annual Meeting, members enjoyed a social hour followed by a review of the City Club budget, a summary of By-Law changes, election of Governors and Officers for 2013-14, a "Have Your Say" open mic, a paddle raise auction, and a lively discussion of issues important to the future of the club. Thanks to all who made this event a great success: to the Annual Meeting Committee (Cindy Condon, Lloyd Chapman, and Russ Beaton), to the staff of Spire Management, to Loustic Catering, to the staff of Willamette Heritage Center at the Mill, and to our very generous members, business partners and contributors for their support of Salem City Club.

Governors and Officers of the Club: During the Annual Meeting, members approved the slate of nominated officers and governors. Congratulations to the newest members of the Board of Directors: Steve Sansone and Barbara Barrie.

2013-14 PROGRAM SEASON: The Program Committee, under the leadership of John Adams, is hard at work planning programs for our 46th year. Speakers and topics for our early fall programs will be announced in the July eBulletin.
