To our Dear Partners in Nigun HaLev,
We cannot begin to express our gratitude and thanks to your community for hosting us in February. We are thrilled we had the opportunity to make our dream of bringing our teens together a reality. Our time in Nahalal was beautiful and meaningful, and we agree that it felt too short!
We so appreciate all of the time and energy your community dedicated to planning the weekend for us. From our conversations with Chen to the meetings your committee held to envision the weekend, no detail was overlooked. Thank you for planning games and activities for us. We had a wonderful time getting to know your teens by spending formal and informal time together.
A huge thank you for welcoming us into your homes and for cooking for us and feeding us! Your hospitality was amazing, and we felt so at home in your community. Our tearful goodbye was proof of the incredible extent to which our teens bonded.
The Shabbat we spent together was perfect. Services were beautiful, and the potluck dinner was both delicious and a lot of fun! We also appreciated that you understood that we wanted to spend a bit of time alone with our group to close our intensive program. We are so glad that some of your teens were able to join us for inspiring co-led tefillot on Shabbat morning.
It means so much to us to know that we have a home and a family in Israel. We are very sorry for the lateness of this letter, and we are looking forward to many more opportunities to connect - through more letters, on facebook, and even in person soon! You are welcome in New York any time!
Love,
Marcelo, Shoshi, and the BJ Teens
