NY Falls From Top 5 - 117 Pvt Cos Raise $482.9M (Week of 5/22/10)

One week does not a trend make but this week saw big moves in the state league tables with NY dropping to #7.  Cali and Mass held their #1 and #2 spots, respectively.  Illinois which we'd noted last week has been strong stayed in the top five as did Colorado for a second week.  Texas rounded out the top five.  Deal dollars remained solid but the number of deals did dip.  Interactive charts to dissect the dealfow by week and by geography are available in the post.

Renewable Energy VC Deals Heavily Favor Solar
