CMU-R's Joint Advisory Board Holds Inaugural Meeting

With the anniversary of a year of operation, The Ministry of Education Rwanda and Carnegie Mellon University in Rwanda (CMU-R) inaugurated CMU-R Joint Advisory Board meeting. The event was hosted at Kigali Serena Hotel on Monday 10th June 2013 and started with a dinner reception to welcome all board members and provide an opportunity for them to interact with other key stakeholders relevant to CMU-R's mission.
 

MSIT Students Start Internships in 4 Countries

CMU- Rwanda students from the MSIT class of 2014 are currently taking part in internships. Students have been placed with companies in Rwanda and as far as Nairobi to Dubai.

Distinguished Lecture Series featuring IBM Research and NASA

Carnegie Mellon University in Rwanda (CMU-R) has been and will continually host and holding distinguished lectures. These lectures are presented by speakers from different fields of technology around the world. They are open to the public and are a way of sharing and receiving knowledge from some of the worlds top science and technology experts.

CMU-R Commemorates 19th Anniversary of the Genocide

The 19th Commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi themed "Striving for self-reliance” was observed at CMU-R on the 8th of April with commemoration events throughout the week.
