All attendees are invited to attend, only members of the Association may vote.  Agenda will be published on the website.

Chimney Demolition – Sunday Night

The Inverkip Power Station chimney, a prominent landmark for Clyde sailors since the '70s, will be demolished on Sunday 28th July at 2200hrs. There will be a controlled explosive "blow-down" of the whole chimney structure, landing on the site of the power station buildings. There are not great vantage points on land but the view from afloat on the Clyde should be spectacular. (the police will enforce a 600metre exclusion zone but this will still give good views).   If you can provide a rib, or drive one to take sailors out to watch, please let us know.

The A78 Trunk road and rail line to Wemyss Bay will be closed temporarily for safety reasons.
