What happens when a customer phones your telephone number?

Hello <<First Name>>!

There's probably at least 3 (and maybe many more) ways to get in touch with you. But the telephone seems to be somehow more 'personal'.

Have you considered that when someone picks up the phone to call you, they may have already decided to buy from you? There are so many ways to find out about you in an anonymous way, that making a call and connecting, is a way of saying, 'here, I'm giving you the golden opportunity to close the sale'.

IS PHONING YOU THE EQUIVALENT OF YOUR "BUSINESS CLASS LOUNGE"?.

What happens when someone calls you? Do they get a 'beep', an irritated hired answer, a voicemail directing them to your website that they've already visited? Or is this their first experience of how fabulous and professional you are? Do they feel pampered, important and relaxed on the phone with you? If you work for yourself, how do you add a special something with the way your phone is answered?

How could phoning you be the 'business class lounge of ways to talk to you'? Obviously, the unsolicited sales calls aren't allowed in, but what's behind the gatekeeper for someone who is saying 'I'm interested'?

Think of one thing right now that will take you one step closer to making phoning you the equivalent of your business class lounge. How does someone calling you really know how important their call is?

Email it to me, I'll read it and let you know what I think.

Bests,
Bronwyn
