Featured jumper of the week: SASHA ROCHON!
SASHA ROCHON ...
From: Born and raised in Prince Rupert, BC.
Lives: Vancouver but all signs show that Salmon Arm is calling our family.
Work: Dance teacher and as a personal trainer.
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A: The fact that I can! Being able to use and play with the most amazing instrument that we have is so empowering!
Q. Your experience doing the jumping photos?
A: As someone with a dance background when I've done photos in the past I've always felt compelled to "look like a dancer". I loved that with these photos I was able to just play around, be a nut and make shapes. Super freeing!
Q: What inspires you in life?
A: People and their stories. Nature.
Q: Your greatest passion?
A: Oh man.. too many!! I love what I do, I love helping people reconnect and reclaim their bodies. But I'm also so passionate about living lightly on this earth. Living self-sufficiently and within our means. Its harder work but so worth it.
Q: Your driving force?
A: To learn. To share. To teach.
Q: Your philosophy?
A: Keep it simple and don't forget to play
Q: Anything in the world?
A: I think making the move to Salmon Arm would help me get closer to my personal goals. I want to live in a cob house be off the grid. Living sustainable and helping other people make the transition in to a functioning sustainable community. I'll say I'm at the 1/4 mark on this one:)
Q: What are you working on?
A: You can check out what I'm doing by heading to my website www.sashabyrnes.ca. I have some things in the works, but I can't share yet!
