The latest DOE SBIR/STTR technical topics have been released and we are seeking partners with whom to respond. The topics include:
-
Non-PGM Catalysts for Fuel Cells and Electrolyzers: Novel transformative research with potential to lead to the development of next generation non-PGM catalysts and bi-functional catalysts for fuel cells and reversible fuel cells.
-
Membranes for Electrochemical Systems: Novel membrane materials and chemistries with high ionic conductivity, low gas permeability, and high mechanical strength to enable material optimization to lower cost and improve efficiency of membrane-based electrochemical systems such as fuel cells, electrolysis cells, and photoelectrochemical cells.
FuelCellsEtc is currently seeking partners working in the Industrial or Academia sectors to secure grants and commercialize the resulting technologies. As a manufacturer and supplier of custom MEA and GDE to the Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer markets we have an avenue to immediately transition deserving technologies directly into the hands of existing clients in the Industrial, Education, and Research industries. This, combined with our extensive experience writing, winning, and delivering on SBIR/STTR projects uniquely positions us to develop and transition these projects at a high success rate.
FuelCellsEtc can act either as the prime contractor, subcontractor, or consultant in the project. We can also be a supplier of custom MEAs or GDEs utilizing customer supplied materials or our own standard materials. We can make suggestions to help drive the overall system acceptance with various commercial customers as well.
