Healdsburg Guitar Festival

Dear Fellow Luthier,
For the past eight days I have had a student from Arizona in my shop. We have been building a flamenco guitar together.
Today after making a nut and saddle we put the strings on and did a set up. The results were amazing! This thing came right to life and the sound just exploded out of it! It has been a fun eight days.
Congratulations Tom on a job well done!
The Healdsburg Guitar Festival in Santa Rosa, California is fast approaching. I will be there showing my latest creations including a beautiful rosewood classical guitar with an arm bevel as well as a Brazilian rosewood classical. If you are in the Healdsburg, California area the 9th, 10th or 11th of August then please stop by my table at the show. National Fingerstyle Champion, Michael Chapdelaine, will be performing on my guitars on the first day of the show, Friday August 9th from 3:30 to 3:50. Here is a video of him playing one of my guitars from the last Healdsburg show in 2011.
I also will be doing some product demo work at the LMI headquarters on Sunday the 11th from 8:30 to 10:30. It is a great time to drop by and talk shop as well as receive some discounts on lutherie supplies.
The Kent Everett arm bevel DVD is a success. In it he shows his method of executing the arm bevel you see in the picture. He lays it all out in a step by step process that makes it easy enough for anyone to learn how to put this popular accessory on your guitar. The DVD is available here.
If you are interested in learning to build guitars or just want to see how I build my guitars then schedule a class with me.
If you are in need of a concert quality classical or steel string guitar then let me know as I would love to build a guitar for you.
Thank you,
Robbie O'Brien
