SAM's Spring Recital Pictures Have Been Posted!

SAM Faculty Ms. Lissette Jimenez featured in this Sunday's Opera in Miami Beach.
SAM's Voice Teacher, Ms. Lissette Jimenez, will be featured in the Puccini Operas Il Tabarro and Gianni Schicchi as part of the Miami Lyric Opera's Saturday and Sunday production in the Colony Theater in Miami Beach. SAM students will receive a discounted ticket for Sunday's performance and can purchase discounted tickets at the box office for $25 (usual price between $39 and $44).

SAM student receives Center Certificate of Excellence from Music Development Program.
Ada Yan, a student of Dr. Claure, received a Center Certificate of Excellence from the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program for her piano assessment last year. Certificates of Excellence are awarded to students achieving the highest mark in their center on their assessment. Certificates of Excellence are an exceptional distinction and represent a national standard of musical achievement. Congratulations to Ada and her teacher, Dr. Claure!

Welcoming new Piano and Voice/Flute Faculty!
We are thrilled to introduce two new faculty members to the SAM family. Milana Strezeva, a pianist with a Master's Degree from Juilliard, will be joining the piano faculty. Milana is an acclaimed pianist with an international career and has performed throughout the United States as well as Austrailia, South Africa, and Italy. Argarita Palavicini is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Miami. Argarita has had solo appearances in many venues, including the world famous Madison Square Garden Arena and Apollo Theater. In addition to her voice expertise, Argarita has earned a Master's in Flute Performance from Indiana University. She will be teaching voice and flute at SAM.
