Dirty South Derby Girls vs. Gold Coast Derby Grrls

Your All-Star Dirty South Derby Girls are working hard to make you proud as they go up against the Gold Coast Derby Grrls! Coming out of two tough bouts at the East Coast Derby Extravaganza in Pennsylvania last month, DSDG are at the top of their game. GCDG has come all the way from Ft. Lauderdale to prove they’ve got what it takes to compete against a top WFTDA team. With standout jammers like Baller Shot Caller, they’re ready to leave it all on the track. But ATL’s All-Star DSDG defense lives by one mantra- shut it down. They’re ready to shut down the best jammers in the world, so Gold Coast better bring their A-game!

Denim Demons vs. Apocalypstix

The 2012 league champions have a lot to prove as they take on the Apocalypstix! The last time we saw the Denim Demons, they pulled off a huge win against the Sake Tuyas, but lost to the Toxic Shocks in February. The Apocalypstix, with their renewed focus and moxie, had the same luck- a win against the Sakes, and a loss to the Shocks. This bout is going to be intense- the Demons have a killer defense with the likes of Wild Cherri, Queen Loseyateefa, and Switchblade Siouxsie, but the Stix have been honing their teamwork, and knockout jammers like Belle of the Brawl and Bruze Orman are ready to blast through even the tightest walls. Will the apocalypse end it all, or will the sailors in blue bring out their evil side? Come find out!

Electric Penguin Stands Up

By Deathskull

Several months ago, 8-year-old Elie Nowlan, otherwise known as Electric Penguin in the Atlanta Derby Brats, wrote a letter to Mayor Reed to ask him to help end homelessness. She was made aware of the problem during a project at school in which third graders learned how to write letters that can make a real-world difference.
