Caught Our Eye
Of all the more than 500 town hall events we have added to our new Town Halls database since Aug. 1, one from Rep. Jeff Denham (R-Calif.) really stands out.
Denham is beginning his town hall (sorry, subscribers only) this coming Thursday at 5:35 pm in San Jose. When the town hall ends at 7:47 pm, if all goes as planned, he will be in Stockton - which, for the record, is also not in his district. Yep, he's holding the town hall event on a commuter train.
The Ace train #08 makes eight stops along the way, only one of which (in Tracy) is in his district, according to our district map (sorry, again, subscribers only). Denham calls it a "Rolling Town Hall".
All aboard!
