Welcome to our August Newsletter.
Our showroom has had a reshuffle and we've found a bit more space for more fabric. We may need to rename the office the Tardis! We are able to better display our dressmaking / wide fabrics and also to now stock some fabulous Riley Blake Cotton Jersey Knits. Cake Patterns by StephC are now also in stock (to go with the knits).
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Rockabilly Riot Lifestyle Expo was cancelled at the last minute. We were really looking forward to meeting lots more Brisbane Rockabilly fans at the Convention Centre but it just wasn't to be.
You can't keep good bunnies down though and we now have our sights set firmly on the Craft and Quilt Fair in October. Lots of new goodies are on the way in preparation, the sewing machines are running hot putting together new samples to show off, and we are raring to go!
Brisbane Craft and Craft Fair 2013
We will be attending the Brisbane Craft and Quilt Fair for the 3rd time this October and our stand will be bigger than ever. We are featuring a load of new fabrics as well as our range of You Sew Girl Patterns and bag hardware. We will be at stand H14 which is right next door to our favourite toy designer Funky Friends Factory - its going to be a fun week!
As usual our showroom will be closed the week of the Fair (13th - 21st October and re-opening on Tuesday 22nd).

Jersey Knit and Laminated Cottons
The Cotton Jersey Knit has landed! We have just received some delicious Riley Blake Striped Jersey Knits. Riley Blake Knits are lightweight with excellent recovery. The Tiramisu Dress from Cake Patterns was made for stripes (it even has some tricky matching / cutting tips) so pop into the showroom and grab them both!
We have stocked Alexander Henry laminated cottons in the past and completely sold out and we now have 4 more designs in stock. Laminates have been very popular over the last two weeks so don't miss out again if you were eyeing them up!
