Bottling
A big thank you to the folks who helped us bottle wine this month. Over one very long and fun weekend in early August, we bottled nearly 1000 cases of Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet, Carneros Merlot, Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot, Santa Clara Valley Syrah, and our first release of Late Harvest Zinfandel.

Early harvest in 2013?
We finished our bottling just in time as it looks like the 2013 harvest will be plentiful--and early. We're expecting about 14 tons of Cabernet, Chardonnay, Malbec, Merlot, Pinot, Syrah, and Zinfandel.

Irises from our winemaker's garden
Neil and his family thinned the irises in their yard--they had about a thousand irises, mostly white, yellow, blue, and purple. We'll have the irises at the winery on August 31 and September 1. Get a free iris rhizome (or two) with any wine purchase.
