Please excuse my unbridled enthusiasm here, but I wanted to share a very pleasant and unexpected surprise which took place on June 27th, this summer. It came in the form of an email inquiry from a gentleman from Legion Papers to do possible in-store painting demonstrations on Yupo paper. The first engagement will be for the grand opening of a new Dick Blick Store in Midtown Manhattan! I took a trial run up to the Big Apple last month, so I am all set to go. My demo will be this Thursday, August 22nd, from 2 - 4pm; the first day of Blick's big two week event which is expected to get mega traffic! End of Summer Greetings!
I want to thank you again for your support and friendship over the years. The internet has changed so much since my SpiritArt and Drawing Everyday letters first went out so many years ago. I now plan to send out bi-monthly or quarterly email letters through this new mail service to subscribers. Paintings, special offers, tips, news and of course, inspiration will be highlighted.
