Rob Hopkins

Rob started the ideas of Transition in his own local town of Totnes, in southern England.  His basic concept was that lifestyles with less petroleum and carbon emissions could potentially be more enjoyable, connected, and fulfilling than what we have now.

These ideas caught on like wildfire, and grassroots groups are exploring this new future in towns and cities all over the world.
