On behalf of the Asian American Legal Advocacy Center, we invite you to save the evening of Friday, September 20th for our 3rd annual Community Champions Banquet. The banquet will be held at Canton House Restaurant in Doraville.

Our banquet brings more than 300 friends and supporters together to recognize the exceptional contributions select individuals have made toward furthering the civil, social and economic rights of Asian Americans in Georgia.

The banquet is also AALAC’s annual, signature fundraiser. Contributions from last year’s banquet helped support our work including:

-         Our Vote for Our Future Campaign, where we registered 1,400+ new voters and increased Asian voter turn-out by 20-30% in target precincts in partnership with members of our Pan Asian Action Network;

-         Our 2^nd Annual Asian American Legislative Breakfast in February which brought 160+ leaders to the Capitol;

-         Our successful policy and advocacy work which led to the passage of Juvenile Justice reform and introduction of a model anti-cyberbully bill.

We are also excited to announce that one of our prime donors is offering a 1:1 match for every dollar raised this year!   It’s a great time to invest in our vision of creating a social justice movement for immigrants in the South.
