Aug 16 Deadline for workshops for the DFCM’s 2013 Undergraduate Education Faculty Development Workshop Day on Nov. 15.
Aug 16 The Faculty of Medicine announces its First Annual Alumni Awards. All graduates who hold a degree or certificate from the Faculty (including former residents and fellows) are eligible for consideration. Read the description of eligibility and criteria, then submit your nomination form.
Aug 23 Abstracts due for The Central West Palliative Care Network Annual Conference on Nov. 13.
Aug 23 Deadline for abstract submissions for the conference Social Innovation in Health Care: Ethical Foundations of Caregiving hosted by The Culture of Cities Centre, in conjunction with the Rhetoric & Ethics Research Lab of Carleton University and the Centre for Social Innovation. Conference to take place in Toronto at the Centre for Social Innovation from Oct. 25-27, 2013.

Oct  6 MBCT 5-day workshop on depressive relapse prevention.  This workshop will lead you through an innovative five -day intensive training program designed to prevent depressive relapse among people with a history of depression.
Oct 17 The art of mindful inquiry . This two day workshop will examine the principles and practices of mindful inquiry as they pertain to therapeutic mindfulness.
